BEST HOLIDAY OUTFITS FOR 2020
Hi everyone! I figured I would get a head start on compiling some different holiday outfit options for 2020. Below, I’ll be talking about some holiday trends and holiday outfit ideas to be on the lookout for this year. In this article, I will be including the best holiday outfits for 2020. When it gets closer to each holiday, I will add more outfits to each category.
Before I get into all of those amazing outfit ideas, you’re probably asking the question, “What are some holiday outfit options/trends for 2020?” Some of my favorite trends this year include polka dots, tiered ruffle detailing, floral patterns, eyelet, puffed shoulder, bra tops, colors including coral pink, flame scarlet, neon, sage, pastels, and a bold yellow color. Some other popular trends/prints include tie dye, stars, leopard, ruffles, and faded denim.
I’m so excited to write this article because when it comes to outfit shopping, the holidays are my favorite occasions to splurge on. This may sound a little silly, but I’ll make plans in advance just so I can plan my outfit for the occasion. Tell me I’m not the only one that does this:) If I had to pick my favorite 2 holidays to outfit shop for, it would be Labor Day & Christmas. When I think about Labor Day, I immediately think of all of the great styles related to bathing suits, coverups, 2 piece outfits, mini dresses, midi dresses, maxi dresses, white dresses with colorful accessories to really make your outfit pop. What is your favorite holiday to outfit shop for?
Some holiday outfit ideas I’ll be sharing below will be St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Cinco De Mayo, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

BEST HOLIDAY OUTFITS FOR 2020-ST. PATRICKS DAY OUTFITS
Since March is quickly approaching, it’s the perfect time to talk about some holiday outfit ideas for St. Patricks day. A major fashion trend for 2020 is the color sage, so I had to add this jumpsuit to the list. I thought this jumpsuit would be the perfect piece if you’re planning something a little dressier. If you’re looking for a more casual & comfy outfit idea, this short v neck dress would be perfect. I know a lot of people attend St. Patrick’s Day parades, so included this sweatshirt for a more festive option.

BEST HOLIDAY OUTFITS FOR 2020- EASTER OUTFITS
Whether you’re hosting an Easter brunch at home, going somewhere casual or dressy with your family and/or friends, I compiled some eye catching options for you to see. When it comes to the Easter holiday outfit ideas, you’ll be sure to get a compliment with any of these options below. Some of my favorite Easter trends include floral patterns, polka dots, and eyelet. See below for some dressy and casual Easter outfit ideas. Which Easter holiday outfit do you like best?

BEST HOLIDAY OUTFITS FOR 2020: CINCO DE MAYO OUTFITS
What’s the first thing you think about when someone says Cinco De Mayo? For me, it’s margaritas, queso, and showstopping embroidered outfit pieces. Whether you’re celebrating with family and/or friends, these would be some fantastic outfit option ideas for the holiday. This amazon top is less than $20. I love these embroidered dresses, and also the beautiful details of this red dress. It has the tiered ruffle details in addition with the balloon sleeve details, which is a big trend for 2020.

BEST HOLIDAY OUTFITS FOR 2020: 4TH OF JULY OUTFIT IDEAS
I know it seems far in advance to plan for 4th of July outfit ideas, but 4th of July will be here before we know it! Whether you’re going to a bbq, festival, or planning a fancy dinner, I have some different options listed below. A fun trend that I love for this year includes tie dye. Tie dye isn’t going anywhere this year, so be sure to get your hands on some tie dye this Spring & Summer! Trust me, you won’t regret it!
Along with tie dye, this plain blue casual dress or the faded denim dress will also be popular items this Summer. All of the options below are more on the casual side. However, I did include this 2 piece red set can be dressed up with some heels for a fun night out.

BEST HOLIDAY OUTFITS FOR 2020- LABOR DAY OUTFITS
When I think about Labor Day, my mind goes straight into vacation mode. For me especially, vacation mode = beach time. Some of my favorite Labor day outfit idea options are listed below.
Coverups:
First, can we talk about these coverups? I found the cutest leopard coverup with colorful tassels at the bottom. I love how these tassels add a color pop to the leopard print of the coverup. This star coverup would be really fun layered on top of a solid or striped bathing suit! Some other outfit ideas include midi, maxi, and mini dresses that you can dress up or down. 2 piece outfits will also be a major hit for 2020.
Loungewear:
I found the cutest 2 piece lounge wear (yellow set listed below) and it immediately has me imagining breezy late night walks on the beach. Since this is loungewear, it would transition well while enjoying dinner and drinks on the patio. I’m laughing because I’m currently sitting in my living room writing this blog post as it’s 50 degrees outside lol. It has me wishing for warmer weather and dreaming of being at a beachfront hotel sipping some cocktails on the patio and enjoying some delicious food.
2 piece lemon set:
Lastly, I wanted to touch on the lemon 2 piece set. I immediately fell in love when I saw it on Revolve’s website. I mean when is lemon print ever a bad idea? For a bolder Summer color and outfit idea option, I included this lime green dress. I love the bold color and puffed sleeves, which will be super on trend this season.

BEST HOLIDAY OUTFITS FOR 2020: THANKSGIVING OUTFIT IDEAS
Colors that immediately enter my mind when I think of Thanksgiving outfit ideas are the colors red, orange, white, brown, and black. I tend to stick with neutral colors for Thanksgiving. I also opt in for roomier clothing that will allow for me to partake in all of the Thanksgiving yummies without me feeling like I have to suck in my food baby (the struggle is real). When it becomes closer to Thanksgiving 2020, I’ll update this with more outfit trends. Some of my favorite Fall trends for this year include head to toe knit, the color rust, colorful leather, and puffed sleeves.
For the first outfit, I love this top and midi skirt matching set. Since matching knit will be a trend this Fall, I thought these pieces were perfect. In the far right picture, I found this cardigan dress and I immediately fell in love. I love the neutral camel color and it would pair perfectly with black booties. Another option I listed was this cream v neck sweater dress. It would be the perfect sweater dress to dress up or down. If you’re headed to a fancy Thanksgiving dinner, this glitter ribbed dress would be the perfect statement piece. Lastly, this multicolored sweater gives me all of the Thanksgiving vibes! The colors are amazing and I immediately want to celebrate.

BEST HOLIDAY OUTFITS FOR 2020- CHRISTMAS OUTFIT IDEAS
Christmas is another holiday I love dressing up for. Whether your headed to a tacky Christmas party, formal occasion, or just casually celebrating the holidays, I’ll list out some of my favorite styles below.
Typically, we have a family get together for Christmas eve. For our family get together, we typically dress up for the occasion. Afterwards, we head to my sisters for a casual pajama party. On Christmas day, we go to my husbands grandmas house to hang with his side of the family there. Do y’all tend to celebrate the holidays in more casual attire or do y’all dress up? I’ve included some favorite holiday outfits that are both casual and dressy below.
Some of my favorite holiday trends include sparkles, sequins, and velvet. One of my favorite velvet dresses I wore a few years ago is actually still listed on Revolve’s website. I will share that picture below because it’s one of my favorite Christmas dresses.

Thanks so much for reading and I hope this blog post will be useful when it comes time to shopping for the holidays this year. These outfits were some of my favorites I found to wear that you can celebrate the 2020 holidays in! I’m excited to incorporate a little bit of all of these trends into my wardrobe this year.
